ABP 3EPD is an online set of course offerings designed for any VPS teacher seeking a 30-hour required training to teach Gifted and Talented students in the state of Texas. This course is divided into five modules covering all strands of giftedness. Each module is subdivided into 2-4 parts. Following each lesson are questions or activities that teachers are required to complete and pass to receive the 30 hours Gifted and Talented certification. Upon completion of the required 30 hours, teachers have to maintain a yearly six-hour update on the strand of giftedness. Update hours can be obtained by attending any professional development on giftedness around the country.
